Meetings

If members of the Parish Council have any issues or concerns, please contact the Parish Clerk in the first instance. The meetings of the Parish Council commenced at Farleigh Hall on Monday 6th September at 7pm.

The Parish Council meet at 7:00pm on the first Monday of each month in Farleigh Hall, Church Road, Off Farleigh Court Road, Farleigh, CR6 9PX

(Except when a Bank Holiday, when it is the following Monday - no meeting in August)

Farleigh Hall can be found just behind St Mary's Church, off Farleigh Court Road, Farleigh. [Map]

Members of the public are very welcome to attend. There is a 15 minute period at the start of the meeting where public questions and comments can be made to the Council.

CHELSHAM & FARLEIGH PARISH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF VACANCY FOR A PARISH COUNCILLOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 87 (2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a casual vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for the Parish of Chelsham & Farleigh following the resignation of:

PETER CAIRNS

Under Rule 5(2) of The Local Elections (Parish and Communities) (England and Wales) Rules 2006 it allows for ten electors for the Parish (ward) to request a by-election in order to fill the vacancy, if no such request is made the vacancy will be filled by the Parish Council through co-option.

Any vacancy not so filled must be filled at the next ordinary election which is scheduled to be held on 3 July 2024.
